We had an amazing trip. Bassant was great at organising everything and checking in while we were on the trip. Our Guide Mohamed Shakour was just lovely. He had great knowledge of all the sites as well as being a very personable guide. Add to all of this the staff on the river boat were great and so friendly. Highly recommend. Only point to note for those less well traveled. the overnight sleeper train option we chose was very basic and the cabin had a lot of settled dust. The beds however were clean and we slept really well.

This tour got off to a rough start. The driver they sent to pick us up arrived 45 minutes late and we almost missed our train because of that. The "Talgo" train they booked for us from Giza to Aswan was a newer train but the "special class" train back from Luxor was the most run-down, filthy and dingy train we ever had the displeasure of being on. It was also delayed almost 2 hours. Don't expect to get any sleep on either train because it's so packed with people and loud. I would have upgraded to a sleeper but they tried to upcharge too much for that so we decided not to take that option. They also tried to overcharge on the add-on experiences of Nubian village and hot air ballloon ride. Do your research and you will know if you are getting a fair price. The saving grace was the Nile Cruise and the excursions with guide included in that. The monumental sites we visited were incredible and the food on the cruise was very satisfactory. However, another thing that the tour company failed to mention was that the cruise ship won't allow you to check in until 9am at the earliest and we arrived on the overnight train at 6:40am. So we had to wait in the lobby for over 2 hours after a harrowing 12 hour overnight train ride. The tour company should have made prior arrangements with the cruise ship to allow us to check in early or at least warn us about it. This was very unprofessional and poorly coordinated. I say only book with this company if you're ok with all this.

I recently had an exceptional experience on a 6-day Nile River cruise. The support I received before, during, and after the trip was outstanding. All the people involved in the tour, including the driver, tour guides, and travel coordinator, were faultless. Bassant, the travel coordinator, was particularly attentive and ensured that everything went smoothly. She provided timely support and kept me informed throughout the journey. I highly recommend this trip and you will not regret.

No son 6 días son solo 3 en el barco. Además, el barco solo se mueve un día. Es más un hotel aparcado en el río que un crucero. La comida es de baja calidad. Todas las visitas se tienen que pagar .. es sobre evaluado. Obvio el Nilo es muy lindo y los templos no tienen comparación, el guía estaba simpático pero tampoco estudio mucho la historia. Propina OBLIGATORIA por casi todo, no te dejan elegir si si o no. Lindo viaje pero no lo volvería a hacer de esta forma.

Good tour! Our guide was good and knowledgable and this was a nice way to see Luxor and Aswan. Mona from Viator was very attentive and helpful throughout the trip and was in very regular contact. Some of the logistical planning could have been better--seemingly unnecessary early mornings left us very tired, and if you don't purchase all the additional experiences there's a good amount of waiting time.

Where to start… Coordinator Miss Bassant handled everything start to finish. I was worried but she handled all logistics . Tour guide Rocky was excellent . 15 year’s experience. Ship “ Magic lady Carol “ was by far the nicest one I saw . Had all amenities. Small cruise ship. Highly suggest an extra 1-2 days in Luxor after cruise and book Rocky for day trips to Valley of the queens, Alexandria, and others he recommends . Tip tip tip. It’s expected and appreciated. 50 E-pounds goes a long way to smooth service everywhere . Highly recommended this tour/ cruise . One caution - 6 days is a red herring. Day 1 and 6 are arrive/ depart . Night 1 and 5 are sleeper trains. You get 4 proper tour days and 3 nights on the boat. Recommend flying Cairo Aswan to start your tour and skip the first sleeper train. Bassant will coordinate .

We were very well taken care of since the moment we were picked up from our hotel to the train station till the last day when the driver brought us back. Felt very safe. The guide Mohamed Shakour was amazing, with the great knowledge of Egyptian history and very kind personal approach to the needs of every member of our small group. I forgot my hat on the train and he made sure it was found and returned to me. Lots of thanks! The whole trip was organized very well, very thoughtful program; good food at the restaurant and very friendly attentive staff. It is definitely a must to do while in Egypt!
