The 3-day desert tour to Marrakech starts with an early pick up from the airport or your accommodation in Fes. Then we drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow, and alpine-style houses -No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to Cedars Forest, where the Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. After that, we continue to Midelt, where lunch will be served. Then we head to the Sahara desert, driving through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass, and along the Ziz river. After that, we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you switch to camels and cross the sandy desert. A stop will be made for you to enjoy the magical sunset on top of a high dune. Finally, we continue to the desert camp, where you can enjoy the Berber drums music while dancing around the campfire, under the vast open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight in the camp
Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate

begins with an early departure from the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After passing through Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops and dates, the road leads to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where sheer rock walls rise above a crystal-clear river. Take time for a walk and photos before continuing through the spectacular Dades Valley, often called the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” known for its red cliffs and unique rock formations. The journey continues across the fragrant Roses Valley, home to traditional rosewater distilleries and colorful fields in spring. In the late afternoon, you arrive in Ouarzazate, Morocco’s desert gateway and film capital, where legendary movies were shot. This scenic drive combines valleys, gorges, kasbahs, and cultural charm—all in one unforgettable day.
Day 3: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Marrakech

After breakfast begins in Ouarzazate, a desert city known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its film studios and kasbahs. After a short visit to the city highlights, you will continue to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Morocco’s most famous ksar. This fortified village, with its earthen clay houses, towers, and narrow alleys, has served as the backdrop for countless films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You will have time to explore the site, learn its history, and enjoy its panoramic views. The journey then takes you across the majestic High Atlas Mountains, following the winding road of the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, admire spectacular mountain scenery, Berber villages clinging to hillsides, and valleys carved by nature. Stops will be made for photographs and relaxation. By late afternoon, you descend toward the vibrant city of Marrakech, known as the “Red City,” where ancient traditions meet a lively modern spirit.
