The park is lovely, with a great playground for the kids, so it is a nice place to visit year round.

Heights Park hosts an azalea festival every April and that is my favorite time in the park. The festival has included in the past; a plant sale from a local grower, buggy rides, art show, and even an orchestra. Snowcones and other treats are available. It is a great place to spend a day with family and friends.
MUSKOGEE WAR MEMORIAL PARK-
The USS Batfish is a genuine WWII submarine, located at the War Memorial Park in Muskogee. The Batfish is open for tours, allowing visitors to experience the vessel that sank three enemy submarines and eleven other enemy vessels during her tenure in battle. Epic for a weekend visit!
