Had our room changed because first room had nasty stain on carpet. Coffee machine was missing and so was some of the furniture. 2nd room was excellent and of the usual standard we expected from cordis. The room was great. Reception also very good. The close proximity to town was excellent. There was no view to speak of, but we were ok with that.

Functional accommodation in great location in central Auckland. Kitchenette had the basics but nothing more. Great little cafe next door. Gym access was an unexpected bonus.

Beautiful community somewhat reminiscent of Carmel CA but without the noise, glitz and traffic. Parking may be an issue on the weekends when surfer fever hits. Lots of green space, walkable trails, lovely people. We had a great time.
