The place is amazing and the staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious and room service was always done before 10 AM. I highly recommend to stay here and any other Outrigger hotels.

The bathroom needs to be upgraded-shower stalls needed. The middle thicker sheet/comforter had dried blood stains. I’m not sure how often that gets changed since it’s sandwiched between the two sheets. The restaurant in the lobby-the service is excellent & the food is delicious even though the menu could have been a little more extensive. However, the service in the restaurant located in the lower lobby was very bad. The sofa in the room is old & ugly. Lastly, your service charges are ridiculous. I believe your guests should not be made to pay for the beach chairs & umbrellas.

Family friendly. Restaurants, shops, beach are all walkable. The ocean views from our suite were amazing! Loved the washer and dryer in our 2 bedroom suite. Highly recommend.

Every time we come to Oahu, we stay at Sheraton. Perfect location and hotel is clean!

Great location, convenient. The only con was the cleaning personnel. The first day the cleaning lady didn't show up until late afternoon when we were back in the room, all other days the cleaning was not up to par, not to be picky but for ex. some garbage items were randomly found on the floor what seems to be from the cleaning lady trying to remove garbage from the room. In general, better cleaning and attention would have been nice. Never had this issue with other hotels. Otherwise convenient location, everything is nearby and I would stay there again but hopefully with improved cleaning personnel.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Alohilani, I am very very grateful for all of the staff and the hospitality and accommodations that were provided. I felt safe upon my return back home. Mahalo nui loa.

An Unforgettable Honeymoon at Halekulani Our honeymoon at Halekulani in Honolulu was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. The spa experience was a true highlight—luxurious, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after long days of exploring. Housekeeping was impeccable; our room was always spotless, with thoughtful nightly treats that made each evening feel special. One of the most memorable touches was a surprise bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon—such a kind and generous gesture. Poolside service was equally amazing, with staff always ready to offer a refreshing drink or towel without hesitation. Every detail at Halekulani was perfect. The service, comfort, and personalized touches made it the most memorable trip we've ever taken. We left feeling relaxed and incredibly grateful. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel in Honolulu where every moment feels special, Halekulani is the one.

The hotel is in a great location and while nothing terrible happened, don’t expect a 4 or 5 star resort as this is not it. The hotel and amenities are dated, there is no room service and basic requests were unable to accommodate ( eg quoted a charge of $50 to have a microwave to sterilize my infants bottles, could not arrange surf rental on our behalf). Overall, the staff we encountered were friendly but frankly it just didn’t seem ‘worth it’. We liked the little bakery in the morning for a muffin and a coffee but otherwise ventured off site for meals. The pool is small and the lounge chairs limited and uncomfortable (thing 90s banded loungers). Food by the pool was good. Spent most of our time eating at the Moana Surf Rider which was actually cheaper than the Royal Hawaiian and overall a better hotel in my opinion.
