The Property is good and Conveniently located.

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot overall. The Butler (Johnson) was extra helpful as i'm a foreigner and he was able to see to my needs anytime. Would stay again.

The most helpful staff we’ve ever encountered at any hotel in Shanghai. Especially the bellhops and the front desk staff. From carrying luggage to sorting deliveries, to the friendliness of the cleaning staff, the service cannot be faulted. Location is also central and has quick access to restaurants and the metro. The room itself is slightly dated but comfortable to stay. Would book again.

Positives: Property: The hotel is stunning and expansive. Plenty of freebies: Free 1 time minibar, foot soak, breakfast, wine and photoshoot, shuttle bus for the airport and disney. Gym: very good gym. Negatives: Housekeeping: I don't think they replaced the bedsheets in the entire 9 nights I was there and didnt take away the dirty dishes we had for days. Supplies like shower caps, bath salts etc arent replaced - which sucks since they chucked out the shower cap the first day they cleaned my room. Breakfast: Pastries tasted quite stale and the variety didn't change much at all throughout my stay. Staff: weren't very friendly. They weren't awful but could certainly be more hospitable.

I spend around ~40% of my time traveling and residing in hotels. This establishment stands out as one of the world's most sophisticated luxury destinations. The service, accommodations, and decor are nothing short of sensational. The concierge, Mike Cai, was exceptional—almost like having a personal assistant in a new city. The staff exudes authenticity and attentiveness, creating an unforgettable experience.

Had some problems checking in but the staff were super friendly, spoke english and was just reassuring through the stay. Only issue was the smoke smell around the halls for those in dorms but it goes away once in the capsule.

Property said there were three beds in the one room, but there was two beds in one room and then a separate bed in the room next door. The facilities were clean, modern and had great air conditioning. The location is a little out of the old city or shopping district or Bund, but we took a taxi to all very cheaply. There is also public transportation nearby.

Closer to main street south lots of shipping malls, restaurants, Metro and hop on hop off bus stop.
