Shiraishi Island Ski Vacations

The hotel room and amenities were super clean and the view from my room and the garden were spectacular. The only negative is that you have to take a taxi in and out of the hotel which is quite expensive.

The staff were really kind and professional, providing excellent service and help, but the actual facilities were not great. There is no on site laundry (there is a service only on Monday to Friday), the AC is centrally controlled with the only alternative being off, and the actual room was not very clean. The bathroom was full of someone's hair across the tub and curtain, with some mould spots around the place (around the sink rim and under the handle in the tub). Just a few straight forward improvements would make this a lot better!

Great location for a one night stay, directly across from station, good size room

Lovely room in a lovely boutique hotel. Clean, spacious, well appointed, and a great shower. 2-minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the historic quarter. Just be aware that they changed the checkout time to 10. (Some of their materials still say 11 and we had factored that into our plans.)
