Okinawa Island Ski Vacations

We booked from Canada on Expedia and got a week for an incredible price including the nutritious and extensive breakfast buffet offering both western and local favorites. The hotel is quiet and offers many services including several pools, workout facilities facilities and an incredible Japanese onsen experience. I used the outdoor pools in a heavy rain, onsen is covered but experiencing the jungle while soaking was an unforgettable and therapeutic experience. Check in staff and all hotel staff are super friendly. Many good souvenir shops and a convenience store in the hotel lobby. They have incredible evening live shows by the poolside including Okinawan drummers and dancers. Truly a memorable stay! After a week stay we got to know some of the staff and we were sad to say goodbye.

Very spacious room, helpful staff (we met Michael and the French chef at the breakfast restaurant, they are really helpful and cheerful), wonderful view Except one of the staff at the reception assumed asian (myself) should speak Mandarin, cos he only knows Japanese and Mandarin, but very little English. My husband is from England and the staff insisted to speak to me in Mandarin. I guess as a paid customer we will have to do what's convenient for the staff not the other way round right? I hold a hk passport doesn't mean I HAVE to speak Mandarin or know this language. Never Assume, we speak Cantonese in HK.

Highly recommend for family with baby. Spacious room. Sea view with balcony . Could view star at night . The small kitchen is what you need for a baby ! Could do simple cooking and reheat food .

Great location and wonderful room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the in room breakfast that came with the room. Conveniently located around the busiest part of town. Highly recommend.

We also absolutely loved the quiet infinity pool—it was so serene, we could have spent the entire day there without hesitation. We had seen a few reviews mentioning concerns about the hotel handling its level of business, but we experienced none of that. Everything felt seamless, thoughtful, and perfectly executed. This was a phenomenal stay, and the team’s hard work truly shows in how valued and cared for we felt as guests. We cannot recommend Halekulani enough and would return in a heartbeat.

Clean and new room, awesome view, hot tub in balcony!
