Had an amazing week at this resort. The property is absolutely beautiful the staff was friendly and always helpful. The food was great. If you are looking for a quiet spot with beautiful views this is the place for you! Highly recommend Occidental Papagayo:)

Beautiful resort and beach. The restaurant food for dinner had too many odd flavors placed together giving the entrees a terrible taste and increased richness. Very expensive food, not many options as well. The staff were amazing and very accommodating.

We stayed in the hotel just one night and that was enough to see everything, but if you want to do more activities like rafting, zipline, or horseback riding I would stay for more days. The nature is all around the property, beautiful exotic gardens and lots of animals to spot. You need to try their products for hair that’s coms from their spa, hands down. I wish they had online shop I would be their regular customer.
