The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel.Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?

The hotel has a good location and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While the rooms felt a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment, the highlight was definitely the view from the top-floor bar — absolutely stunning and well worth a visit. Sky Bar Bangkok offers one of the best panoramic views of the city, especially at night.

Service/staff was great. Food and dining horrible. Sky bar had ants crawling all around and if drink left long enough, was crawling on glass. Food at Breeze not worth the money. Tom yum soup tasted like sea water, no flavor. Only good part of dinner was they delivered leftovers which was most of the meal to ours room so we can just throw away. The hotel room floor had multiple stains in the room and cigarette butts on the balcony. 3 stars was solely for the service. Attendant and staff in restaurant was excellent. Was a good hotel years ago. Not worth staying again.

Everyone working at this location should be compensated well as they made the entire experience much more enjoyable. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful when it came to our needs. The property is fantastic with wonderful views from our villa. The personal pool was perfect in the heat. Even though the ocean is not close to this property, it honestly didnt even matter to us. Everything else was fantastic and it was a short drive to the beach. Would highly recommend and will surely be returning in the future!

Everything was absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and friendly, the spa was excellent, the restaurant was superior food and service, the room was very nice, the pool also was very nice, and the setting was amazing. The jungle was peaceful, the monkeys were fun to watch from the outside gazebo. Very relaxing atmosphere, very elegant. A perfect trip.
