Had an overnight stay at the Fairmont Vancouver, what a fabulous stay. The staff were professional, friendly and attended to any little request. The hotel is in a great location for walking round the city and then to board the cruise ship. On our return the hotel stored our luggage for the day. Have stayed in a few Fairmonts and the service and standard has been consistent across the hotels.

Beware of price gouging. We booked a non-refundable one night room six months in advance to coincide with a cruise out of Vancouver for an extremely high price. They only offer non-refundable reservations. I checked the price a week before our arrival and the price was less than half the original cost. The hotel certainly has the right to do that, and I will exercise my right to NEVER stay at one of their properties again.
