Beautiful property. Staff were very helpful. On site food options were not tasty and the property could ultimately benefit from updates. I was not fan of the bathroom set up in the room, and I don’t think the cleaning staff were that intentional with actual clean up of room (replacing bath amenities, etc).

The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel.Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?

The main positive thing about this hotel is the location and that the rooms were clean. However, the hotel staff and amenities were mediocre. There was no hot water from my shower for the last two days and despite multiple requests to fix this, they did not. The other thing I wish I knew was that Patong beach is pretty loud and rowdy and if that’s not your vibe, I would not recommend staying near Bangala road or this hotel.
