Very convenient for a stay near the airport. The free shuttle bus was easy to get to and from. Kind staff, and good breakfast! Everything we needed for a layover in Narita. The rooms were basic, but just fine!

Stayed here for one night on 1/27/26 and had a delightful stay. The Fujiya Hotel was expansive and had a lot of history and story. Our room was delightful as we stayed at the Forest Wing with a beautiful view. However, the beds were okay, just felt stiff and not as comfortable as expected. Since we chose the Forest Wing, the walk from the front desk to the room is a little bit far, but it’s okay. Their hotel is lovely to explore as they have a museum at the flower palace, a chapel, pool and then a garden right behind the main building. They offered complimentary amenities such as rest area that serves unlimited soft drinks and hot coffee. We did not use the onsen, however since the bathroom is supplied with hot water from the hot spring, I used my bathtub as a good way to relax in the water. All the staff was professional and kind and provided the utmost high quality guest service. Very friendly and are attentive to making sure their guests have a pleasant stay. The location was good to go see the open air museum. They provide complimentary van shuttle to take you from the hotel to the nearby train station. The difficulty I faced was since I didn’t had a Japanese phone number, I could not contact the hotel for a shuttle to come back when I arrived back at the train station. Instead, I used GO taxi app which was sufficient. Overall, if I were to come back to visit Hakone, I would stay more than 1 night here next time at the Fujiya Hotel and explore their other rooms.

This is the best hotel in Japan. Everything was outstanding.

Such a pleasant stay. 6 nights never a dull moment in this hotel, from the minute walking in you feel the warms and atmosphere of a true 5 star hotel. Highly recommended.

The check in and out check out process was perfect! Have a luggage locker if your flight is later in the day and want to explore also! Right next to shinagawa station with everything from souvenirs for your family to a 7eleven in the same place!

Hotel Nikko Narita is a comfortable and convenient place to stay near the airport. Although it’s a bit far from the JR Narita Station, the hotel provides a reliable shuttle service, which makes getting around easy and Only 8 mins to T3 Narita airport by shuttle bus. The tatami-style room offered a nice traditional touch, though the space was quite compact. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a pleasant experience for a short stopover or early flight connection.
