Great room and very helpful staff.

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property would stay again close to the airport

Great spot overall. The Butler (Johnson) was extra helpful as i'm a foreigner and he was able to see to my needs anytime. Would stay again.

The Chateau Hotel/Resort was way better in every respect than we ever could have expected. From its splendid "palatial" construction to its more than comprehensive resort facilities (tennis & badminton courts, indoor/outdoor pools, gym, wellness centre etc etc to its wonderfully helpful and friendly staff as well as its quality Chinese (Shanghai style) restaurant. Set in a quiet leafy area about 6 kms from the city centre it was refreshing to hear the birds singing from our balcony in the morning .. Geoff & Annie from Melbourne Australia

Beautiful property would stay again close to the airport

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. There is a personal touch to this boutique hotel. It is close by to Nanjing Pedestrian street without the hustle and bustle of the shopping street . It is also extremely close to a metro exit (within 2 mins walk) and next to a huge mall. The room is clean and extremely spacious for 1 to 2 people stay. The bathroom is excellent with separate shower and toilet and a bathtub as well. I would definitely consider staying in this hotel again.

The property itself is pretty nice and the staff are fantastic, but it's worth noting that this location is actually a 20 min walk from the closest metro station and a further 10 mins on the subway away from People's Park. There is another Dayin just a few minutes walk from People's Park - don't get confused like I did!
