In such an incredible spot and neighborhood and was really easy to get checked into and was cozy. Close to metro and lots of great restaurants!

Overall the property was excellent including location, condition and the amenities. However, one thing that was lacking was a warmth from the staff especially from the front staff. They were no way mean or nasty. It just seemed sterile and generic compared to its competitors who were more on the personal level. I would think hotel in this level, this item should be the foremost. May be it was one off thing, least I hope.

Near the Metro, quiet, a lot of dining options, helpful staff and we appreciated the AC!

Great common area for working and clean hotel and rooms. Comfortable beds with AC and blackout shades are a plus for a good nights sleep. Rooms are small, but good for solo travelers or couples who will be out exploring the city.

We had a wonderful stay at Castille. The location was perfect. We had breakfast included and they had a great selection including eggs, good variety of fruits, breads, cheese, yogurt etc. You can also order a la carte. I’d love to go back.

I stayed at the hotel for nine nights. The room was small but that was okay since I really just needed a place to sleep since I was going to do a lot of sightseeing. I have always loved the Sofitel chain. My favorite is the Sofitel in Washington DC. So, when I booked this room in Paris I expected an exceptional experience. Their breakfast buffet left very little to be desired. I ordered pancakes one morning they were cold, dry and rubbery. The next morning I ordered soft boiled eggs. The eggs were hard boiled. The cost of the breakfast is obscene at $39 euros per person. Definitely not worth it. While it is more convenient to just have breakfast at the hotel, after the first two, I decided to just explore and look for a cafe for the duration of my stay. A few afternoons I had the do not disturb sign on my door because I wanted to take a little nap before I went back out. Every time I was in the room to nap, the housekeeping staff called the room to ask when they can come to clean. That was one of the most aggravating things. The first time this happened I did not answer the phone. Immediately after the housekeeping staff called again. They continued to call until I finally answered. I stopped to ask the concierge about tickets to the opera garnier to tour. I was told they don’t do tours.

Wonderful hotel and staff.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Staff was not very friendly, they acted inconvenienced when I asked a question. I can understand that in other places, but this is a hotel.. supposed to be for tourists.. so I just wished they were nicer to me.

Rooms are very small and not comfortable Can’t have bags around and move around the rooms. Kitchen breakfast area is ok nothing special. Ants on the counter by where the bread and the toaster is which is also near precooked food. Building has gone through renovation obviously but if you’re used to a normal sized room this is not the hotel for you. Staff is nice and friendly and the rooms were quiet. No view nothing special. But just something to get by with.
