This 4 star old hotel boasts one of the best value buffet lunches I had in Japan! The hotel is about a 15 min walk to the pita train station

Average stay. Room smelled like feet. Lift was slow. Had welcome drink on the ground floor was was told it can only be consumed in the lobby. Hotel was quite strict with check-in time. Staff was pleasant to deal with.

Excellent property with fantastic sea views. Very co-ordial staff and helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the resort. The maisonnette where we stayed at, had breathtaking views of the Beppu bay especially during sunrise. It also had private onsens which were very well maintained giving us a great way to experience onsens! Having said that, I do think that having cold milk vending machines would definitely add to the onsens experience.

For the price, the room and the breakfast should be better, otherwise it was OK
