The place itself is nice and the pools are great! Just make sure to get to the pools earlier in the day, because later the water doesn’t feel as clean—it can almost feel like you’re swimming in salt water. The food, however, is a huge disappointment. I ordered two waters, a pizza for two, and a Cobb salad, and the bill came to about $100. If the food had been amazing, I wouldn’t have minded, but it was poor quality and definitely not worth the price. Even the food at the pool was overpriced and only sometimes okay, but often just bad. Low-quality food should never come at such a high cost. Everything at the hotel is priced like a luxury experience, yet the quality doesn’t match—not for the meals, drinks, or snacks. The pool was enjoyable and the room was nice, but one really upsetting thing happened: my sandals disappeared from my room in the evening. The cleaning team had already come by in the morning. When I came back later, the room was too clean for us to have just overlooked them, and we checked everywhere. Whether they were stolen or mistakenly thrown out, I’ll never know—but it made me feel unsafe. I had to wear my other shoes the rest of the trip, which left me with painful blisters.

I loved the parking available at The Orleans. Plenty of outdoor parking and garage parking with high clearance.
