Had to take a smoking room. I’ve stayed in some before when there was no other option and it wasn’t terrible.
But the smoking rooms here are BY FAR THE WORST.
Everything else about the hotel was great, but if you book late and they only have smoking rooms left, be sure you’re prepared.

A wonderful stay in the New Otani. The room was spacious and had all the amenities that I needed in the room.
The hotel is so large and the fact that there a shops and restaurants within the complex made it helpful.

I ran the 2026 Tokyo Marathon and this hotel was a 5-10 minute walk to the start line. The hotel is located near the train line and plenty of good restaurants. I suggest paying extra for the breakfast which offered a buffet and cooked to order American style egg dishes
