Short Stories is a gem. Fantastic location across the street from Farmer's Market and The Grove and within comfortable walking distance to museums in the Miracle Mile area. Good food and nice SoCal ambiance in the hotel bar/restaurant. Friendly staff and nice rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

I was told I had to pay for an upgrade to get a refrigerator, but someone i was traveling with had a fridge without the upgrade. Felt like a lot of unnecessary upcharges.
