What you can expect
During the Hidden Krakow Bike Tour, a Dutch guide will take you to the most beautiful hidden gems of Krakow, places that you as a tourist would not easily discover on your own but are absolutely worth visiting.
In this tour, we focus on World War II and what happened to Poland afterward. Not only will we visit places that remain hidden to most tourists, but you'll also hear stories from us that have always remained hidden to many. We will enrich you with impressive, heroic, and even emotional stories about Polish heroes and victims. Through stories full of hope, pride, and sorrow, you'll learn how Poland's history has shaped its inhabitants.
The stories of this tour are told outside the city center, including in one of Krakow's most beautiful parks. This beautiful park is full of statues of Polish heroes and stories from World War II that are probably unknown to many Dutch people. Did you know, for example, that Poland played a huge role in the liberation of the Netherlands and Italy?
In a tour where World War II is the main theme, we will also visit the Podgórze district, where we will visit, among other things, a Jewish cemetery, Schindler's factory, and the former Jewish ghetto.
The Hidden Bike Tour is the ideal complement to a visit to Auschwitz, the perfect tour to learn more about World War II and Polish culture, and does not overlap at all with our Complete Krakow Bike Tour, which covers the highlights of the Old Town (Stare Miasto) and the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz).
In short, if you want to experience a special afternoon full of impressions through the most beautiful less touristy places, then the Hidden Krakow Bike Tour is definitely indispensable during your city trip.
