Clean room and beddings, friendly staff. Daily housekeeping is a plus. Room kinda small and ceiling has about 20+ paint patches. 8 mins walk to subway, many restaurants nearby, convenient store is very nearby which is a plus to grab snacks and drinks.

Overall the value of this hotel holds up. It’s convenient for airport shuttle and close to metro. Rooms were clean and efficient, nothing fancy. This is the first hotel I stayed at that charges for late check- out for just one hour. Maybe this is normal, but it would have been nice if that was a free option.

Hotel Naru is a new property with clean, modern rooms and stunning views of the Han River from the lobby and pool. However, if you’re assigned a “city view” room, the outlook is disappointing—facing rundown buildings and construction sites, making it better to keep the curtains closed. The hotel is also located in a quiet residential neighborhood with limited nearby dining options worth venturing out for. The biggest drawback is the food. Across the restaurant, lobby, and café, the quality is poor (especially by North American standards). For example, a smoked salmon croissant was served completely cold—even the pastry—like it had come straight from the fridge. Overall, the food lacks freshness and flavor.
