The hotel is undergoing renovations. They didn’t tell us that. We arrived to JACKHAMMERING outside our window. We had to fly overnight to get there. We were exhausted. The next day they had planned work on the rooms across from us. They didn’t tell us this either. The doors at The Tower Hotel slam very loudly if not carefully closed. We experienced hours of very loud and very disturbing door slamming due to untold work across the hall. My husband was trying to work during this time. We were staying 8 nights and he needed to get some work in. We were patient. We didn’t say anything until the jackhammering along with constant door slamming made us leave the hotel! We encountered two “upper level” individuals discussing renovations and they asked if we needed anything so we let them know our concerns. They acted as if they cared and took our room number and nothing happened. We complained to the front desk to no avail. We also had a stay overnight in Paris. The hotel we stayed at let us know they were having facade work done but that it wouldn’t bother us. It didn’t but they let us know the second we booked so we could cancel. The Tower Hotel has a lovely view but the hotel itself is not appealing visually and offers almost no amenities unless asked and paid for buy having to upgrade expediently for your reservation. It’s a tourist trap of a hotel and I do not recommend! The concierge are amazing though! The only hope the hotel has! I can provide video of the noise we endured!

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. My suite room on the 10th floor had a view of the London Eye as described in the room’s description. My two daughters and I loved our room, having the option of including the breakfast was so worth the extra fee, and the perfect location so close to popular sights and transportation. We would definitely stay here again.
