Clean room. Pleasant staff. Air-conditioning was good. Small kitchenette with dining table and chairs. Walking distance to convenience stores and dotonburi/namba walk. Bathroom contained shower and washer/dryer for clothes which was handy. Plenty of taxi and uber around too.

Our family of 4 had an amazing time in Kyoto and Hotel Monday made it even better. Our room spacious, shower and bathroom were very cleaning. The customer service was great! We will definitely stay here again.

As someone else mentioned, the vibe almost feels uncomfortably trendy and caters largely to westerners. That being said, most of the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was extremely clean, and the lobby was lovely to sit in. We never visited the restaurant, but the cafe offered delicious, affordable assorted breakfast options and the coffee was always tasty. The location was also fairly convenient - not in the centre of anything, but a good base to get to and from.
