Hwaseong Pet-friendly Vacations

We’ve been a repeat guests for Sejong. Really appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities. The room was clean, even housekeeping did a good job when we requested for our bed to be made. The only thing that didn’t change is the worker’s union protest, that seems on-going even before covid. Fortunately, they didn’t bother hotel guests but get a bit crowded when the protest at the lobby though.

We had to wait 2 hours for checkin. I know the check in time is 3 pm, but there are always some rooms that are ready earlier. Then at 3pm there were many people checking in at the same time. I liked the location. Airport limusine in front of the hotel for 18000 won. one washing machine and one dryer for the entire hotel. we paid a higher price with expedia, but the room was on the 11th floor with a nice view. we did not have time for breakfast unfortunatelly. There was some renovation gaing on in the foyer when we were there.

I arrived early at the hotel around 1:45 PM, but I never requested an early check-in. I was completely fine with returning at the standard check-in time of 3 PM. However, instead of simply asking me to come back later, the front desk staff asked me to scan a barcode and register through the hotel website. The connection did not work well, and I was left standing there trying repeatedly while feeling very tired. I want to be clear that I did not ask for early check-in, nor did I need it. I even mentioned that I would go have a coffee and return at 3 PM. Only then was I told I could receive the room key later, and I was also asked to leave a positive review before even checking in. I have stayed at this hotel location since 2018, and this was the first time I felt that the process was more focused on promoting the hotel rather than considering the guest’s comfort. While the staff member was polite and smiling, the experience felt unnecessary and uncomfortable from my perspective.

Great place to stay near subway station

We really had a pleasant time at ENA Namdaemun Seoul for 5 days! Room was clean and well equipped. It was very spacious for 4 of us. Staff changed towels, made beds and replaced water bottles everyday. Especially the staffs in the lobby were so helpful and courteous. Also, we got so many excellent tips it made our trip more pleasant! Totally recommend ENA Namdaemun Seoul! Thank you so much for helping us to make a very memorable trip! We sure will be back! Reception staff amazing. Met us at the curb where taxi dropped us off and helped bring our bags inside and check us in about 4h before published time. Fully equiped kitchen. Many combinis (GS25, CU and 7-11) steps from hotel lobby. Easy walk to subway station, dining options and shopping. The Concierge service was indespensible for foreigners like us who don't speak or know local customs.

The room was clean, staff very nice and helpful, breakfast fresh and delicious, shop and restaurants around is available.

Great place to stay near subway station

we will come again. Location is very good. we did private transfer from incheon airport. about 1 hr drive. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Room is ok size but we had 29 inch luggage so it was a struggle. we basically slept and showered only so it was ok for us. The bathroom is tiny, the shower head is on top of the sink. there’s a funky smelly smell coming from the drains. we bought air freshener for the bathroom. There’s a hot water dispenser and microwave in the kitchen . We like the place for the location. we love iksedong. we walk there to eat every night. small lively restaurants and shops. Convenience store everywhere. We walked to Insadong shopping. We walked to Gyeongbokgung palace and hanok village maybe 25 mins. We walked to myeondong market maybe 30 mins. Walked to Gwanjang market. We took train to Gangnam and Starfield library. and Hannriver. Our family is used to walking in the city so 25-30 min walk didnt bother us. We wore sneakers the whole time. there’s a train station nearby, maybe 5 min walk. I see people leave their luggages in the lobby either for early checkin or they will elave for the aipprt later in the day. You can hear the peolple in the other room. but we were tired so we slept.

It is right in the middle of Myeongdong shopping street and only a few minutes walk to the metro station. I love that they had a water dispenser/purifier in the room and a microwave and coffee machine in the pantry area. Rooms are basic but it is sufficient and worth the price paid for.
