California Desert Pet-friendly Vacations

The restaurant was lovely. The staff was accommodating. The room was okay. The neighborhood was definitely a little more rough than we expected. It’s listed as Union Square, but this is more Tenderloin - not somewhere I’d want to walk alone at night.

Had an amazing weekend!! I would highly recommend this hotel. The area is a little sketchy, but that’s not the hotels fault. Staff was more than helpful.. I would recommend anyone coming into SF to stay here.

I have not experienced this level of service in San Francisco anywhere else. The staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From ensuring we had rides, reservations and the necessary infrastructure to conduct work from the hotel to the little touches of dropping of fresh flowers and providing yummy treats throughout our stay -- everything was so carefully crafted and thought through. And the views, interiors and food were delicious. To bring this home, when i was checking out, I asked if they had a gift shop and sold sweaters because I needed something warm to weat on the plane. When they didn't have anything, the hotel manager offered me a shawl of her own??! It was the most generous act and completely unexpected. I will be returning the garment on my next stay in San Francisco when I inevitably stay at the Huntington Hotel again. No better place!
