Staff was great but starting off with the parking that was weird because they had no sign and I had to go inside there to give me a map and then when I drove around looking for the structure itself, there wasn’t like a clear sign to say that you know this is where you’re supposed to park that was kind of frustrating. I mean, it’s kind of pricey for what you got. You have to pay for your drinks in the lounge I thought that would be covered but then again it was all right and then the food in the morning that was really great. I really enjoyed the food. In the interesting architecture in the interior was nice too that I appreciate but you know then again the problem is the value wasn’t as good. I don’t know if there’s other places in that small city to compare against. At night when I was hungry, we had to walk out in the rain looking for something to eat. There’s a lot of old school joints here and there, but it felt dated from a time long, long ago when it was gangster. The city was old and what can you expect?

Exceeding expectations. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and requests. The luxury of this place cannot be overstated. Perfectly appointed villa, private en-suite hot springs tub with a view of Yufu mountain and delicious breakfast and dinner spreads served in your villa… not to mention the in villa massages. Totally worth the cost. If you’re planning a trip to Yufuin, this is one of the best places to stay.
