Shiraishi Island Pet-friendly Vacations

The hotel room and amenities were super clean and the view from my room and the garden were spectacular. The only negative is that you have to take a taxi in and out of the hotel which is quite expensive.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel generally felt relaxing and pleasant, and the staff were really helpful. I liked the pyjamas so much I bought a set! The hotel also gives you access to a local onsen which was a lovely treat at the end of the day. The only quibble was the breakfast which was good but perhaps not quite worth the money - we had better breakfasts for less elsewhere. But other than that, I really enjoyed it stay at this hotel and would greatly recommend it.

Verry good spacious rooms

From the moment we walked into the entrance of the Granvia Hotel in Okayama, the magic began. We were greeted with wide smiles and a “happy to see you!” vibe. The one downer was that the luggage we had sent to this hotel was only partially delivered. The wonderful young lady at the front desk (Sato, Sumire) was very sympathetic and went out of her way to help us find the missing luggage. She called “Sagawa” delivery service and informed them of their mistake. The lady from Sagawa told us that our bag was still in Osaka and that it would be delivered the next day. Fortunately, I had an “Apple Air Tag” in the bag and knew the bag was in their Okayama distribution center. Our missing luggage was delivered to our hotel room within a few hours. We will highly recommend this hotel (Grandvia Okayama) to all our friends and anyone who asks. Again, please send our personal thanks to Ms. Sato, Sumire for her help and kindness. Aloha and mahalo!

Verry good spacious rooms

It would be good to highlight that this is a love hotel. Staff were not at the desk and signage was not clear about where the front desk was. The room was large and clean, but because this grandmother didn’t know the kind of hotel, she was surprised by adult vending machines in the room, a massage chair, and intimate objects. The bathroom was large and clean and Cinderella themed. A good surprise was the curling irons in the bathroom area. Location was an industrial area next to a train track.

The property had a fantastic view of a Velodrome. Both the dinner and the breakfast was excellent. And the service was very friendly.
