Mid-Atlantic Kid friendly Vacations

Staff was professional. Hotel room heater did not work for 3 of the 4 nights so had to settle for a space heater. They did not offer another room with working heater.

Was very nice of course the room is in a great location! Love Marriott have been a Marriott law list for 20+ years. This say, however, I called and asked for conditioner and more towels was not brought up to me two nights in a row so I went and bought my own conditioner. Was truly surprised by that as that is normally not the way that things normally are.

Charming art deco property with in-house diner and Italian restaurant. Very close to Moynihan Train Hall. We experienced a very long wait for check in. Unsure if this is typically the case at 9:30 PM on a Saturday, but only 2 agents were staffing the desk and a third eventually came out to chat up the line of nearly 15 parties. He was very friendly. We stayed during an incredibly cold weekend, so the room's draftiness likely couldn't be helped due to the age of the building. Even with the heat turned to high, there was still a breeze at the windows. Our suite was clean and spacious for NYC. The housekeeping staff we encountered were all friendly and accommodating. Would likely stay again, if the weather is better, due to location and price.

New clean room, good food and cocktails!

The room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the city. Check in and check out was quick and easy. There was a lot of construction noise on our last morning in the room but it was a Monday and I guess I can’t be mad that people are simply doing their jobs. It was pretty loud but not the end of the world. There was no mini fridge in our room (space for it but nothing was there) and although there was a coffee maker, no actual coffee was stocked. There was also a supposed credit per day to be used at the hotel restaurant and we only used the breakfast buffet on the last day of our stay. I was charged $42 for a single buffet breakfast which I thought was kind of expensive for what I had…and was told at checkout that the discount had been applied. Overall a good stay but I’d avoid the overpriced buffet and head out to any of the great food spots nearby.
