"It is a very old property that was pretty dark, and everything looked dusty and outdated. Our room did not have a window. it was on the first floor and had back door that led to trash area. Breakfast was very limited. Stale pastries and weak coffee, sweet yogurt and few cereals. Women at reception were welcoming. Parking was easy and many spots were available. Bathroom was tiny.. shower was extremely weak. We would not be staying there again and certainly wouldn’t recommend it."
"This is a gorgeous historic property nearly 100 years old. With this in mind, my remarks are personal issues, not necessarily those of all travelers. I am extremely allergic to mold and mildew and just imagine a 100 year old building. While not visible, there is that “ old” smell that never leaves. This is particularly in the hallways and public spaces, NOT IN THE ROOMS. The property is beautiful, refreshing and restful. The back courtyard particularly was inviting. The room was clean....
"The breakfast offered was o.k., coffee was great. We were bothered by the noise level of the highway.
Other thoughts were lack of seating for two people and feathered pillows (I’m allergic!). Staff were great, property very clean."
"The room had an overwhelming mold smell that was covered by bleach. The bathroom door didnt close because the door had swollen from the moisture.
Bedding and pillows smelled of mildew.
Staff were friendly."
"The shower in the room didn’t work. Maintenance was called and the guy was super nice, however it was going to take him more than an hour to fix the shower and I didn’t have the time to wait,
Also one of the elevators wasn’t working. So you had a long walk to get to the working elevator or I could walk up 3 flights of stairs with my luggage."
