The room was clean, but the bed frame squeaked when you got into bed. The room was tiny—no microwave, coffee pot, or desk. The door was noisy when you opened it. The TV had a tear in the screen.

Staff were wonderful. Hotel was a great experience

Room spotless staff were always on hand and foot to help with anything at all although we had no issues tht needed resolved as everything was perfect and we will definitely be back and recommend to others Thank you Riu for a wonderful stay xx

Location was good for most walking ventures in Midtown. Nice staff and cleaning crew. Sadly we had someone else’s left behind underwear under the bed frame, also a hair clip. How are these items missed? The evening “wine tasting” they advertise in the evening is a joke. Put out 1 bottle of red & white so when it’s gone, it’s gone. We never got a glass. Same for morning apples/oranges. The so called bar was open only 1 night of the 6 nights we were there and VERY expensive. So you had to go to the ever more expensive attached Scarpetto’s Italian restaurant and pay $30 for a glass. Luckily we found a cute Irish pub across the street. Just mediocre

The complimentary breakfast was really really bad. Almost inedible. A little more care and thought would take it a long way. Suggestion to provide bagels, toast, yogurt type items to elevate the experience

Lovely staff. Incredible property. The hype is real. This is by far and away the nicest property we’ve stayed at in Manhattan in a long time.

Room is clean to the extent of possible standard room service/clean; however, the wear and tear and stains make it look bad for a 5-star hotel. Sound proof could be improved. The windows, although completely closed and shut, still leak cold air/wind (fresh air though). Shower space and water is great, but ventilation could be improved (Damp and musty smell when humid).
