Very spacious room, helpful staff (we met Michael and the French chef at the breakfast restaurant, they are really helpful and cheerful), wonderful view Except one of the staff at the reception assumed asian (myself) should speak Mandarin, cos he only knows Japanese and Mandarin, but very little English. My husband is from England and the staff insisted to speak to me in Mandarin. I guess as a paid customer we will have to do what's convenient for the staff not the other way round right? I hold a hk passport doesn't mean I HAVE to speak Mandarin or know this language. Never Assume, we speak Cantonese in HK.

Services and hotel decor reflect high standards of Japanese culture. Most importantly, I lost my AirPods at the swimming pool and reported them to the reception. They found my AirPods the next day, to my surprise. What an honest system.

Halekulani Okinawa exceeded every expectation and was easily the most luxurious resort we experienced during our time in Japan. Traveling as a family of four, we chose to splurge on two rooms in the Sunset Beach Tower, and it was absolutely worth it. The rooms were stunning, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with premium amenities. From the stocked minibar and Nespresso machine to the beach bag and sandals you can take home, every detail felt elevated. The inclusion of comfortable pajamas added an extra layer of comfort. Housekeeping was exceptional with daily service and a relaxing evening turndown. Service across the entire resort was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, creating a welcoming and seamless experience throughout our stay. Dining was a highlight. We enjoyed dinners at House Without a Key, which offered a perfect casual setting with great seafood, pasta, and salads, and Steak & Wine for a more upscale experience. The quality of food was excellent across the board. Steak & Wine is on the pricier side, but the experience and quality matched the cost. Be sure to book reservations in advance as slots open daily and fill quickly. We chose to explore local cafés for breakfast, which was a great way to experience the island. The resort is also conveniently located near several excellent dining options. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool areas were beautiful and relaxing. 5 Stars all the way!!

Our stay at the Naha Blossom Hotel was a quiet delight from beginning to end. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed—comfortable in a way that lets you fully exhale after a day of exploring. The soaker tub was a lovely touch, perfect for unwinding. The hotel is in a great location, yet remains peaceful and calm. What truly stood out, though, were the people—warm, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a generous and satisfying buffet, and the guest lounge on the upper floor became one of our favourite spots. Sitting there with coffee in hand, watching the sunrise over the ocean while listening to early morning birdsong… it was a beautiful way to begin each day, especially as early risers. Tastefully decorated, serene, and quietly refined—this is a place we would happily return to.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. If you opt out of every day cleaning, you recieve a 1000yen voucher to spend at the restaurant or gift shop, which was fun. There are free different flavor bath salts, and a self-serve bar and coffee mixing station. The room was huge, clean and has lots of bits to make you feel welcome and relaxed. We never heard any of our neighbors, and the bed & pillows were amazing. There were two ACs in the room, so yiu can keep the room cool or keep the balcony door open for warm sea air. A bit of a shame that the pool closes at 6 (during the off season when we went), but that was the only downside.
