Beautiful property with great biew

Beautiful pool area and gold lounge level was key for a better experience

It is an excellent resort. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious. At the end of my stay, there was a cockroach running in the bathroom.

Absolutely loved this place first time in Hawaii and choosing this place mad the experience that much better first they gave us a room that didn’t have the 2 queen beds that we book but I called the office and they fixed that issue right away and upgraded us to room with a king and queen bed and a LOFT my son absolutely loved the loft he said”daddy I have all this space to my self and a computer desk” he was excited it was cool with a spiral stair case going up to the loft this place was very cool clean had a little gym and the swimming pool was awesome my son loved that as well wouldn’t get out even when he was shriveled from head to toe nice view of the golf course from the pool as well all around great place and was close to anything you needed food groceries gas I’d deff go here again

I was very happy with this property. The size was great and the view of the golf course was extremely nice. There's lots of shopping within walking distance as well as a short walk to the beach. Property has a nice swimming pool and Jacuzzi and the grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend it and would potentially stay there again if I was on the Big island. They also have laundry at the facility and a full kitchen. Very convenient.

It is always a pleasure returning to Mauna Kea. With the recent renovations now complete, the hotel is more beautiful than ever and remains my daughter's favorite vacation destination. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering an excellent selection of food, and the staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the beach and the crystal clear ocean is an experience that is truly hard to find anywhere else. We had another wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next summer.
