8.2/10 Very Good! (1,245 reviews)
We really enjoyed our stay at the Scandic Sydhavnen Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, modern, functional and conveniently located near the train station. Staff overall were friendly and helpful.
In addition to our two night stay at the hotel, we purchased two breakfasts and one dinner at the hotel restaurant. Food and service at the restaurant were very good.
The only comment we have in regard to the hotel is about the charges for our dinner at the restaurant. After our meal, the waiter brought me a handheld terminal that displayed the bill and included a tip preset of 20%. I paid the 20%, as I usually do in the USA. I later learned that this is an excessive tip in Denmark. I believe that tourists to Denmark should be aware of this.

"This hotel is in bankruptcy. Another hotel is in their place, we were not notified at all. Manger is a pain in the a$$. No internet for all 4 days we were there, out of 8 light bulbs only 2 worked (both in the same fixture) so room was dark. Very musty smelling (window would only open about 5 inches ..."
