Calgary-Edmonton Corridor All inclusive Vacations

Great hotel in Canmore, easily accessible from the hwy and close to Canmore downtown with restaurants, stores, gas. The room was excellent and we had a very good nigh sleep - mattress, pillows..Equipped with a good Nespresso Coffee maker and a fancy electric tea kettle, with coffee pots and excellent tea bags. I want to find this brand to order for home. Didn't have time to check out the spa and restaurant.

I booked what I believed was a room at Grande Rockies Resort based on the listing, but the accommodation I was assigned was in a separate building across the road. The listing did not clearly distinguish between the resort and the separate building, which created different expectations than what was provided. During my stay, the elevator in the building was not operational, and there was construction debris in the common areas inside the building. The room had hard-surface flooring rather than carpet, the bed was not particularly comfortable, and the air conditioning unit was very loud. The combination of the bed and the AC noise made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I was also surprised to learn that guests staying in this building were not permitted to use the resort amenities, including the pool and spa, despite the booking being presented under the Grande Rockies Resort name. Greater transparency about which building is being booked, what amenities are included, and the current condition of the property would help guests make an informed decision and avoid misunderstandings.
