I use to get 4 1000 yen vouchers at check. I haven’t gotten any the last 2 times. I enjoyed buying danish or cookies at the pastry store to have with my morning coffee. My birthday was November 7 when I checked out. I returned on November 12 and will stay until November 25. Hotel Okura this year gave me flowers. Last year it was cookies and always a birthday cake. Imperial Hotel gave me a photo frame and I only stayed 2 nights November 9 and 10. Otani could have given me something. Just for your information.

The room was spotless with clean pyjamas every night. The staff were courteous & professional. We enjoyed the tea service, the massage chairs and the quiet relaxation areas. Very very pleased that we chose this hotel for our stay.

All of that. A really good hotel - staffed by courteous, helpful people.

Amenities basic. No microwave in the whole hotel. The sofas in the lobby were threadbare with torn fabric. Toilet was raised and a bit funny, hot water not really hot. Reception told us to go to 7/11 to print a document as they did not have office/print facility. Overall, did not feel we had good value for our money.
