Golf resorts and hotels feature either an onsite golf course or partnership with a nearby golf course. If they don't have an onsite golf course, they may offer shuttle service to nearby golf courses.
Higher end golf resorts may include clubs, caddies, carts, and more in their package price. Golf vacation packages may also include green fees and country club passes. Others may offer those perks and services for a small fee.
Many golf resorts have other amenities such as game rooms, pools, playgrounds, and restaurants for the non-golfers in your party.

Gym/fitness was in a tent. Rooms are updated but showing age. Our room was very small. Staff is excellent.

The hotel was excellent, a large room with everything a family needs (including a washing machine). The staff was courteous and helpful, the breakfast was very good, the shuttles were excellent, punctual and very punctual. I will return to this hotel next time.

Overall, the hotel is “very tired” and in need of substantial investment. Obviously living in past glories.
