"Great location and amazing views! Our hotel room had a beautiful balcony with a view of Mt. Etna! The pool area was very nice and drinks and food can be ordered while relaxing or you can go to the bar! Stepping off the elevator and having the doors open to the gorgeous ocean view as you walk through the cave is always amazing! Truly an experience! All staff is friendly and helpful! The shuttles that take you back and forth to the town of Taormina are a great feature and many options of times! Just make sure to reserve early AM your spots! "

"Amazing hotel with amazing views. Best pool breakfast above and beyond It’s right near the bus stop so you can actually catch the bus or one euro from the train station which we did not know a very simple location. Easy to walk to the centre. The staff were incredible. Will definitely return "

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or just a friendly conversation, Mohammed was consistently attentive and thoughtful. His hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. "An excellent stay at the hotel. Service was excellent. We used the valet parking to make it easier. Breakfast was on the roof top and had a great variety. Staff and service were excellent. Quick service for cleaning rooms. I would recommend the hotel and stay again."

"We loved this hotel. It's in a beautiful location, and a short walk to the cable car which takes you into Taormina/Corso Umberto (shops, restaurants, exploring, people watching etc). The staff, concierge, service in all areas of the hotel and cleanliness was outstanding. Amazing breakfast selection, great restaurant and amusing entertainment in the evening. Nice pool area, and sun deck, although to get into the sea, you need 'swimming shoes' as the bottom is rocky. The gym could have been bigger, it's in a glass cube which gets the sun very early. It was over 30 degrees at 7.30am which made the workout harder that it should have been! Great view though! There's train line behind the hotel, which I hadn't seen mentioned in other reviews, although it didn't impact us, as it was relatively quiet. Overall we loved this hotel, would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future. "
