There are no windows that open to the outside. The only readily accessible fresh air is by opening the room door to the hallway. The room does not have controllable air conditioning. I rung and asked for the room temperature to be lowered or to be put in another room. I ended up booking and paying for a room at another establishment.

I have stayed 3 nights in this property... The cleanliness of the room was good, the bed was very comfortable. The bad things i Will say it now.... The TV did not work, i had no heating in the room for 3 nights, the noise from the other apartments was very loud even after the silence hours and i could not sleep very much., if you take a shower all the water goes into your room, you need to put towels to stop entering the room. Rather than that i enjoyed my short break in Switzerland.

Room key provided did not work, customer service phone posted on door was out of service. We found another phone number online and when we were finally able to contact management, they were absolutely rude. We had to wait outside the room for almost 2 hours. Management never apologized. No hand-soap in room, no a/c, internet did not work, and bad smell in hallway and room due to a food stall in the first floor. Manager said he did not care because I had already paid and he would never reimburse. Horrible place to stay.

Without air conditioning, the window can’t opened. There is no service front desk. Clean once a week. The TV does not have a remote control. The only thing is that the transportation is convenient, and it is convenient to go anywhere

It’s the worst experience I got ever in my life, even I tried to reach Expedia as well because I don’t want to stay there.. I contacted the property they mentioned they don’t have air conditioning but they said we have cooling system only then I thought I will wait for some more time might be it takes time. There was no ventilation in the apartment, we can’t even open windows as well it was fully humid.. I won’t recommend anyone staying there unless you are coming in winters.. I wrote the email as well for the problems in the apartment but none of them get back to me related to issue.. last but not the least the shower was also leaking and the water was flowing outside the shower which created totally mess on the floor of washroom..

I had initially booked this hotel without reading the reviews, and to my dismay, they were absolutely horrible. By the time I realized this, it was too late to cancel as I had chosen a non-refundable option. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found that the room wasn't as bad as described in the previous comments. It was clean and spacious, but the lack of air conditioning was a major drawback. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay reached around 30 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit), making it quite uncomfortable. I had to resort to opening the window for ventilation, which thankfully was an option in my room, unlike in some other rooms, I assume. To make matters worse, there was a restaurant nearby that seemed to attract very noisy guests, predominantly of Indian descent (nothing against the nation). I want to emphasize that it wasn't just regular noise, but rather loud conversations and screaming. The restaurant turned into a party venue both nights, and the noise persisted until midnight. Even though my room was located on the 4th floor, I could almost hear every word being uttered. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel to individuals with sensitive ears or to those seeking a peaceful rest after a long day of traveling through Switzerland. Additionally, the neighborhood surrounding the hotel had an Indian influence and was not as clean as other parts of Zurich.

The hotel was not clean and the pillow had bed bugs that we saw was moving around so I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at al! It was a very bad experience. I want to get a refund from this hotel asap! I will file a claim too and I have pictures to prove that! I’m really disappointed with this bad experience.

For a lady travelling on her own this was not the property to stay in. Noisy with an Indian street cafe under my room so there was a delicious smell of Indian cooking all day and night and lots of people in the lobby blocking the door into the building. I was on the first floor, and maybe this added to my concern and the noise level both from the cafe and the street. Maybe a top floor room would have been quieter. The first time in hundreds of hotels I have booked with Expedia I would not recommend or ever visit again

The property was in a convenient location with transportation and restaurants everywhere. We liked it and would use again. The only issue is we were unsuccessful communicating with the property management. We wanted a top sheet for the bed and we never heard back from the management or cleaning staff.

You don't realize the importance of air conditioning at a place, this was the first place i landed after a 9 hr flight, i was at the property at 12 noon my checkin was at 2, Guess what no ones here to answer anyquestion, u get your key by an automated keyboard not before 2 pm. We had to wait on the road with all our luggage until it was 2pm. During the day outside noice was ok but at night if you open the window on the road side, someones talking/ yelling all night (until 4am) if you close then window. Then you are suffocated becaused the unit has neither air-conditioning nor a fan. I was told by some others in the complex their unit faced the road and they couldnt open the window on the road side as it was sealed, poor people couldn't sleep as it was 40 C whole night, only God know about carbon monoxide poisoning

No ventilation in the room, and only blinds on the outside of the windows, so to sleep with the window open meant that there was light in the room. No ventilation in the bathroom, so smelled like old toilet water.

The room was facing the street. You can not open the window. Stuffy smell in the room from lack of fresh air. Had to open the hallway window and room door to get some oxygen into the room. No ventilation noted. No A/C Provided with a small fan which did not work when pluged in. Borrowed one from my cousins room as her room was facing the court yard and had 4 windows that could be opened. No smoke detector in the room noted. For the two nights someone was moving chairs till late at night. No clue where the noise was coming from. Nice proper fridge Nice bathroom Comfy clean bed Elevator Lots of shops around Walking distance to train station Rooms should not be rented out until ventilation issues fixed.

This has been the worse stay by Expedia so far, there was soap to wash our hands, no remote control, no lights. Way too much noise from the top floor and constantly heard knocks at out door. Very little to none communication to ask someone for help.

The elevator wasnt working when we stayed there and our room was on 62. Omg can you imagine how stressful it was to carry luggages up to level 6 with stairs? Also the toiletteries are just lacking when i clearly put in 4 people. There was no reception as well and no one to be called.

The key didn't work, the shower didn't work, the internet didn't work and it wasn't very clean...so standard Swiss Star then! In addition the communal area smelled badly of the kebab shop below, there were cars revving outside 'til the early hours and someone started drilling at 7am.

Convenient location.
Check-in process was easy once you completed the registration online. Once we entered our room, the bed was not made and the room had not been serviced yet. However, they cleaned our room within 15 minutes and everything looked as expected. Everything else was fine. The area is a bit loud. The location is good as it is walking distance to the train station and Old Town.

Ventilation system pumps curry scent into bathroom
Had great difficulty checking in as I did not receive any instructions as it said I would in the email. Room was not exactly big and made worst by the fact there was a huge wardrobe blocking a lot of the space... Ventilation system also was bad as there is an Indian restaurant downstairs and the ventilation was pumping a curry scent into the bathroom.

WORST PLACE TO STAY! Very Bad Service.
Bad service, No instruction of service and no front desk, a lot of time wasted. no body can help no TV no aircond since the weather is around 28-30 really hot. Only got small fan. they claim pillow but not a pillow it is a slap cloth. really frustrated call the hotline many times no body answer only machine. really bad service.

An okay budget micro-hotel
The automated kiosk was unable to dispense the key because cleaning staff were using at the time (attempted to check in about an hour after the earliest check-in time). The flooring in the room has warped from water damage so it kept the bathroom door from fully opening. The room was very quiet, but at the expense of completely sealed windows during a warm summer visit. The India Street Food takeaway located at the entrance is fantastic!
