Better to stay when not so hot out!

Make sure you check in before 9 pm. Hard to get into hotel without a key. Unfortunately we were there during a somewhat of a heat wave and didn’t realize there would be no air conditioning and very slow fan. However breakfast was great, staff was friendly and a convenient location.

Hotel with a nice Garden

The breakfast is poorer and could be improved a little bit. I see it the same since 9 years already. Otherwise the Hotel is great, after the renovation. Spacious rooms, a lot of light due the big window. Really nice garden on the top of the shops, a place where you can relax a bit after a long day. The Mall is right below of you, with many shopping possibilities.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Illuster. It was a last minute booking as we had arrived in Switzerland and did not like our original accommodation we booked (another hotel) so got online and found this one instead. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is on top of a shopping mall and we parked underneath the mall. We had to pay a small charge at the hotel to park there. The hotel is in a nice area with quite a few shops and restaurants. Not far from the hotel is the countryside and mountains and we had a great time exploring the surrounding area. Our room had a balcony and the view was pretty good. The hotel was clean and quiet.

Unschlagbar zentral in Uster gelegen, hervorragendes Personal. Tiefgarage und Einkaufcenter im Haus, Fahrstuhl verbindet Hotel direkt mit beidem, leider nur 1 Fahrstuhl. Angenehmes Ambiente in Frühstück / Barbereich. Terrasse und Dachgarten vorhanden. Leider Badezimmer Wanne eng, mit hohen Wänden und rutschig. Hab mich beim Duschen unsicher gefühlt. Obwohl in 5. Etage oft Geruchsbelästigung durch Raucher auf Terrasse.

Perfekte Lage und super Service

Perfekte Lage! Das Frühstücksbuffet war fantastisch, auch dass man sein Heissgetränk an der Bar frisch bestellen und es einem dann serviert wurde, finde ich toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten waren super. Vielen Dank!
