The Matterhorn suite has a unique view of Matterhorn. It frames the Matterhorn in the cable car ring. We saw the Golden Matterhorn right at the balcony of our room. The hotel is right next to the cable car of Glacier Paradise. Overall a very satisfying experience for me and my family.

The hotel is very close to the cable car station to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. It is a very new hotel with an indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel room condition is very nice and the staff are very sweet to give a surprise on our honeymoon trip. The view from the room is brilliant as it is the closest hotel to the Matterhorn. No other building is in between us with the spectacular mountain. Breakfast was also very nice especially love the croissant. One thing to note is the hotel is on the other side of the town from the main train station. The hotel can arrange pick-up for arrival and check-out to the station. Others will be walking to the main street (or taxi) but with walkable distance of 10 mins.

The hotel is perfect for hikers willing to walk to the Zermatt city center. The hotel is 15 minutes walking to the center to find the restaurants and shops. The walk is beautiful overseeing mountains, river and beautiful Swiss wood constructions. The hotel's staff is wonderful, smiles, eager to help. It is next to the Lift to the Glaciar. Walking the trails is amazing. Zermatt is great and the hotel is really cool. Decoration, Spa etc.

This hotel is just beautiful! The spa has all the amenities one could ask for, the service and the breakfast was also very good. The only issue we had was that the check in instructions did not state that Zermatt is a car free town and you have to park your car in Tisch. Our navigation had us driving directly into Zermatt and we got a ticket from the local police. The signs are not clear at all and we have driven every where in the world. Knowing this ahead of time would have saved us 2 hours and a world of grief. But the hotel itself is simply fabulous with floor to glass windows which make the views come alive.

A MUST VISIT PLACE
This is "the" place to be in Zermatt. The suites are spacious with good interiors and an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The staff is not only friendly but very accommodating to any / all requests.

The property was gorgeous. Amenities and details were amazing. The staff was so accommodating and super friendly. Only downside was making the windowless room option more apparent on booking. Not something I usually look for when booking a room so was surprised to find out we had a room with just a sky light. That being said- the staff upgraded our room to a suite that was absolutely stunning for a small fee for one of our nights.

Fabulous Getaway
The hotel is very nice. Friendly staff members and wonderful amenities. It is lovely to sit outside and gaze at the Matterhorn in the early morning or evening light. You are steps away from the cable car up to the Schilthorn and the bus stop to town is also right there. The bathroom was beautiful and well-appointed. I have never had such a comfortable/cozy hotel robe. The pool is nice after a long day of hiking. Excellent breakfast.

We had views to everywhere - View to the town was awesome, view to the Matterhorn was phenomenal (only a utility pole was kinda on its way) however we’ve enjoyed the suit 50 very much so with floor to ceiling glass windows and a big a tub! Breakfast was great with variety of food, local Zermatt yogurt had a unique flavor along with local cheeses and more. Spa area was exceptional with indoor and outdoor pool of course with a view to town and mountains. Staff is extremely nice and helpful when you want to make reservations to restaurants or anything you want, they were very warm to the guests. It was very convenient to just put our skis in the locker room and walk outside right to the gondola. I’d definitely consider staying there again!

Fantastic Hotel
Absolutely loved this hotel. Great 3 day stay here. Excellent views, very clean hotel and super friendly staff. Very accommodating. Location is superb for the cable car to go skiing as it's straight outside but it's a 15 minute walk into the village where all the main cafe's are but it's well worth the walk along the river to get there.

The view from the hotel is awesome. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The facilities (swim pool and spa) are great, and the room is clean and comfortable. The only downside is the location, while great for the view, is a bit far from the train station (15 to 20min walk).

The best hotel ever stay
Hotel to stay for going to Matterhorn. Next to cable cart terminal. The best hotel even stay with view to Matterhorn (It is a premium room for at least over $350 per night but it is worth a penny.)

Beautiful hotel with great view!! You can’t find better location than this ... we had wonderful time . Enjoyed the spa , and comfortable bed ( almost too soft ) breakfast is very good . Worries free to visit Zemartt .

Practically Perfect
A high end hotel with space to spread out in the public areas but also many good size rooms with balconies if you want privacy. You sometimes need to search out staff with questions or to get help but once you do then nothing is too much trouble. Location is excellent next to the Matterhorn Express and 5-10 minutes walk to the Sunnega Funicular (or you can catch the free shuttle bus if you have a lift pass). Breakfast is very good and there are complementary sweet and savoury snacks laid on in the early afternoon if you have the munchies but don’t want to go out. They can do bar snacks during the day/evening but if you want a substantial meal then you need to go into town but there are plenty of choices. We have stayed here 5 times now in both winter and summer so they must be doing something right! It is priced towards the top end of hotels in Zermatt but has a quality and an understated elegance that I like.

Focus is an absolutely gorgeous hotel with a breathtaking view of Matterhorn and Zermatt town, and is conveniently located near the express bubble. A lovely note from Chris & Patrizia welcomed us to our room, which felt like a designer loft apartment. Eco in style with lots of glass and wood, and the unobstructed view from our balcony of the majestic Matterhorn mountain is something I will never forget. After a nice hike, we loved relaxing in the outdoor hot tub and treated ourselves to a sauna session, salt-water bath, and aromatherapy steam treatment in the spa and wellness area. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property and making our stay so wonderful! I look forward to staying at Hotel Matterhorn Focus again, only this time for a much longer period of time!
