Rooms are big and comfy, staff is pretty friendly and the breakfast was great. Pool was good, services like chairs and showers at the beach were fantastic as well. Hope to visit again!

Everything was amazing from the room to the pool and the breakfast was excellent as well. We liked it so much we extended out stay.

Well kept property, convenient, friendly staff, quiet and peaceful

yes can see ocean from room

El Colibri is an excellent choice for a week long stay in Playa Carrillo. Our kids loved the pool and were very comfortable roaming about the property and surrounding area. The walk down to the beach was very reasonable, as was access to the market and several small restaurants. Of course I need to mention El Colibri's outstanding Argentinian parrilla. We usually dine at different location every night, but we enjoyed the parrilla so much that we came back for second round. I thought that the...

Good location only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Carrillo Beach, easy walk to restaurants and market. Big room, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, great pool, delicious breakfast and more! Definitely recommend!

One of the best views you can get into Carillo, the hotel looks like it is brand new, great prices on the happy hour and food, the infinity pool makes everything better.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Montelaguna and I absolutely hope to return. The property was very charming and well decorated with a relaxed atmosphere and all the conveniences we would want. The meals were so good that we rarely ate anywhere else -- well prepared and reasonably priced. The staff were ALWAYS pleasant and helpful. They made a great mojito. The pool was great to cool down on a hot day. The only hiccup we ran into was that it took about a day to figure out the quickest...

Nice place friendly staff...

Its very nice siting on the veranda watching the birds singing in the mango trees and the rain in the afternoon .The short walk to the beach is very stress free you will meet the locals And see a lot more than you expect .you will love the soda close by (Francisco ) very good food and nice family that is Carrillo .we had a good time .

We had a late flight and arrived late, but were given excellent directions which made checking in seamless and easy. The location was close to the beach, very convenient, clean and quiet. We loved our stay here!

We love Sol Samara! Cannot wait to return with all our girlfriends. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Food was great and the small pool was perfect for a private morning dip. We love kitties and they had purrfect friends around the property.

What a spectacular location, extremely private and beautiful. The accomodations are absolutely spotless and welcoming staff. But be sure you have four wheel drive or arrange for transportation.

There is no reason to consider any other hotel in Samara.

The bar and restaurant area was beautiful and the only problem was that it was not open when I was there. Breakfast was good. The pools were clean. It is very nice gated community. And a safe environment. I would definitely stay there again.

This property is great and surrounded by beautiful. The staff was so sweet, professional, and helpful. The food was delicious. I would rate them an 8 out of 10. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is they invest in entertainment. There’s not much to do at the hotel besides eat, drink, swim, and relax. Samara is a small town that’s far from excursions and major cities so the hotel really need to do something to keep their guest entertained. Other than that this...

The roads getting to the property — and the Nosara area — were incredibly bumpy and rough. Once we arrived it was totally worth it. The staff was very friendly, they helped us with our Spanish, made it easy to schedule rides to town and activities offered. The restsurant was beautiful and the food was fresh and they had light healthy options. There is only 1 restaurant on site, so going into town for some meals was nice (La Luna has the best sunsets ever) The onsite pool were perfect—the views...

It was amazing! Staff so incredible

We had a fabulous stay at El Pequeno Gecko Verde, it is a true jungle oasis! Our kids, ages 5 & 7 loved the walk through the jungle to the secret beach and the pool was the perfect way to cool off in the afternoons. My son especially loved the banana milkshakes! The location was perfect for us, lovely and quiet, a 5 minute walk to Buenavista beach for sunset and about 10 mins walk down the street to a the bakery/soda . We enjoyed being out of town and had a car if we wanted to go into town for...
