Hotel com arquitetura muito bonita, muito limpo. Porém fica afastado de Stone Town, o acesso é mais difícil e não vende bebidas alcoólicas. Então não tem vinho ou cervejano jantar ou na piscina. Além disso a região da Marina é feia e suja, que é onde o Hotel se encontra.

Junior staff excellence.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely location, the staff stood out for us, kind and thoughtful. The management team was missing throughout our 4 day stay not 1 manager greeted us or checked in on our stay, luckily the junior team made up for this. Wonderful breakfast presentation and rooms are very clean!

Pros: Beautiful grounds and resort overall. Very esthetically pleasing to the eyes. The rooms were clean. Cons: Review for hotel verde…. For the price of the resort there’s a few things that did not sit well with us… 1. Forced to participate in gala’s/food buffets for the holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve). This is not advertised, you are emailed about 1 week prior to arrival. 2. The Gala’s are mandatory on 12/24/24, 12/25/24 & 12/31/24 which is fine; it’s extra and they do not say this when you book! They send an email leading up to arrival about it being “compulsory.” Flight was changed which meant arrival to the resort was close to midnight when the gala was over on 12/24/24; had to ensure upon check in not to be charged because we were told it’s mandatory. I emailed them in advance when I found out the flight was changed. No response. 3. For 12/31/24- it’s mandatory for all in-house guests but there was no space for us! You know it’s mandatory, you know we are going to be charged but all tables are booked and they didn’t say “you have to book in advance.” We had to explain this to a woman and she was beyond rude, then a second woman was nicer she helped and we were able to go off grounds and eat without being charged. 4. Requested assistance because a strong odor that smelled like sewage and feces from next door room came into our room. Told they would come see, no call and visit to the room. If this is 5 stars I do not want it! Will not stay again!

If you are on business trip or leisure and you want to be close to city and airport this is ideal location. The rooms are huge and very cozy. All rooms have Sea View and it has number of small boats for rent... like for fishing etc. Over the weekend there is waterpark which comes to life and it is amazing.

Excellent 5 star hotel, close to Stone Town

Beautiful and spacious hotel. Rooms were absoulutely great and the balcony overlooking the sea were perfect, especially during sunset. Mind you that this hotel does not serve any alcohol since Zanzibar is Muslim. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Just a short Taxi ride to Stone Town but surrounding the hotel is little or nothing except for container and shipping facilities so there is not much to see if you want to take a walk out of the premises.
