Review of Art Hotel This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. The hotel is located right in the middle of a busy tram intersection, and the constant noise is unbearable. Every 10 minutes or so, a tram passes by, shaking and rattling the entire building — including the rooms. Sleeping was nearly impossible, especially with the uncomfortable bed. Getting into the hotel is also a hassle. You walk through a dark alley, climb 20–30 narrow steps just to reach the lobby, then another steep set of stairs to get to the room. My room was a cramped attic space with a ceiling so low that you can only stand in the center without hitting your head. The air was damp, and the air conditioner made a loud rattling noise whenever it was on. The only positives: the staff were friendly, the location is close to the city center, and breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, none of that makes up for the constant noise, shaking, and overall discomfort. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a restful stay.

The location is perfect in the heart of Zagreb. We stayed overnight because of travel. However, it's in the ideal location to wander in the city without an issue. I highly recommend for the cost, since others are highly marked up. Definitely a family-friendly hotel.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property was situated near many areas for tourists such as parks, the main square, the church (unfortunately under construction). The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The room was very clean, i had a great view out the window. The only negative (not for me) is the tram runs right alongside the building. They provide earplugs in the room, so dont freak out unless you didnt do your research. It wasnt that loud and i slept fine without the earplugs. Another bonus was the AC was pretty decent (cold) which during the summer in this region is not common. I would absolutely come back here!

The stay was okay. The room was spacious and affordable for what it was. The cleanliness was fine. There were dusty surfaces and some dust bunnies that I think could have easily been cleaned up. In our room, you could easily hear the tram from outside and it felt like it shook the walls - it was fine for the one night we were staying.

The web description did not mention that the hotel is on the 1st floor and there was no lift. We, both above 70 yrs, had to carry two heavy suitcases up 18 stairs to checkin on arrival at 1am without any help. The room was clean but very small and cramped, with no space to open the suitcases. The toilet, shower and wash basin were all crammed into a 4 ft by 5 ft space. Drinking water is from the tap in the bathroom. No parking space. Overall, a bad, expensive experience.

Great location, clean modern spacious room, friendly helpful staff and central location. We were only in Zagreb for one night but plan to spend more time there on a future trip and will definitely make the Art Hotel Like our first choice for a place to stay

Mix feelings with this hotel. Very small rooms if you have luggage other than a small backpack. Dark alleyways to get there after sunset ( automatic lights are far from your pathway). No elevator, at least two floors with the luggage from the street level. Nice staff, good breakfast, expensive house bar. Well located.

Cortesia e disponibilità. Colazione dolce e salata sempre rifornita. Camera ben organizzata (nella nostra era presente un lucernario chiuso). Aria condizionata presente, così come bollitore con rifornimento quotidiano di caffè e the. Bagno ampio, con doccia divisa. Pulizia camera quotidiana. Possibilità di slacciare i bagagli prima del check in e dopo il check out. Acqua disponibile per gli ospiti alla reception. Hotel situato a 10 minuti a piedi dal terminale del bus 290 (meno con tram chiaramente). Posizione strategica (ci sono anche alcuni supermercati e panettiere vicinissime) per visitare a piedi la città alta. Per noi una vera sorpresa. La consigliamo (è speriamo di ritornarci)

The staff were wonderful, we came 2 hours before check-in started and our room was already prepared for us. The staff also offered to look after our luggage on our departure day due to an evening flight. The accommodation itself is super clean, the bed is really comfortable and the whole place in general is very good value for the money you pay. The wider area at large is very central and walkable to many of the sites that you’d want to see, the main square is a 5 minute walk and everything else is connected and easily walkable from there. We really enjoyed our stay, their breakfast was also fantastic, thank you for everything!
