The view of the lake and mountains was spectacular! We had a corner room with a 90 degree view of the water from the large sitting area. The B&B staff were so helpful in planning our day; it was like having a local travel consultant! We recommend buying the boat, gondola and excursion bus tickets in advance, before arriving at Sun Moon Lake. It is less expensive and will save you a lot of time, when you arrive. We were assigned a time for breakfast in order to keep the dining room from being too crowded. Breakfast was a combination of traditional Taiwanese and Western options.

Good location, clean and good value.
At first I was disappointed with the lack of restaurants around and location, after having driven around the lake I found that this is the best location and best value for money. The cable car is not far away and it’s right next to the quayside for the ferries. The bed was too firm for me but the room was good size with balcony and clean. Breakfast was limited for foreigners, no cooking available, but adequate. Overall given the price of other hotels I think it presented good value and the staff were helpful. Parking is not at the hotel but not far away and staff will take you by scooter.

We got to the area late but the hotel sent someone to guide us to the parking lot. It was just a few minutes' walk to the hotel passing many shops and eateries. Checkin was quick. Our room was on 7th floor and it had a big french window that opens to a balcony. The hotel was on the first row to the lake. It was late and dark but we could still see out to the pier. The next morning when the sun came out, the view was spectacular. We could see the boats on the pier and clear across to the far side of Sun Moon Lake. The breakfast room was on the 8th floor right on top of our room. The selection was all right but again the view was great. There are seats where you can sit by the window and enjoy the view while having breakfast. One of the server lady on duty that day can speak fluent Mandarin, Japanese and English. We arrived late so we really couldn't enjoy the area. All in all, it is a great hotel for me and my family. Would definitely like to come back.

Nice hotel facing the lake. After unloading luagages at the hotel, staff brought us to nearby free carpark. Bought boat tickets and 九族村 tickets at the hotel reception counter. Good service!

The room is spacious enough for 4 adults. Bathroom is clean too. The roof-top restaurant is a feature where you can enjoy your breakfast with wide-open lake view.

Excellent place to stay
The place is by the lake side with nice view to the lake. It is located in the middle of the shopping area but quiet in the evening since most shops are closed around 7:30. The room is clean and comfortable. They packed sandwiches and drinks for us on the checkout day so that we can catch an early bus to the train station without missing the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful in providing us with bus and train schedules.
