Doris Home is super cute and sweet property. Staffs are very courteous and helpful. Special thank to Kim Hsu for your help and promptness with email correspondence (Kim help tremendously with logistic for bus from Alishan to Sun Moon Lake and from Sun Moon Lake to Taichung. I felt well taken care off and Doris Home will make sure you'll have any information you need. Our room deluxw double room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Soaking tub and provided bath salt was fantastic. Shower area even though not completely enclosed, the floor dried very fast kudos for design :) all the cats are very mellow so no worries if you are not into cats. Bus stop, ferry station is very close and walkable...super convenient. I highly recommend this cute place and would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at Doris Home. From a very good welcome from the human and feline staff to the comfortable and quiet rooms during our 3 days there. Breakfast was delicious and promptly served, there was always something fresh or hot to drink available when we were at the property. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, our daughter really loved the third bed in the window for its comfort and nice view on the outside. The location is conveniently located a few steps away from the main attractions of the city, and the restaurant at the end of the road is a must try. Of course, special congratulations are in order for the feline staff who were particularly patient and nice to the strangers we were and accepted our petting and cuddles without ever showing annoyed. Be aware that there was a lot of mosquitoes in the area, and that precautions should be taken. And we were grateful for the repellent provided at the entrance of Doris Home. We will definitely recommend Doris Home to our friends, and come back whenever we will be in the area.

太喜歡了！非常舒適
超棒的住宿體驗！有停車位，公共區域環境很整潔，貓咪熱情不怕生超可愛，房間乾淨明亮充滿設計感，另外接待員都輕聲細語且貼心，讓人倍感溫馨，早餐服務像在咖啡廳，我很喜歡這樣的早餐，且地點距離水社碼頭很近，步行就能去許多步道。

If you love cats, you must love this B&B. There are four cats here, and everything is with cat patterns. Room is spacious and clean. Location is not far from the bus station. The host is very kind and provide useful travel information.

Well-decorated, they provided everything we needed, staff were super super nice and accommodating (and you can tell they genuinely love their cats), the cats were really cute!!! Affordable too :) Highly recommend for anyone going to Sun Moon Lake. It's also conveniently located 5 minutes from the bus stop and close to local stores, 7-11 and even starbucks.

Wonderful stay
We're so glad we stayed at Doris Home. It's just down the main street from the wharf and we were thankful for the tranquility and to be away from the traffic of the busier areas, and still just a 5 minute walk away from the Lake. The building is new and the spaces beautifully laid out - kind of a Japanese / hygge vibe in both the downstairs main area where you have breakfast and in the rooms. The communication from the hotel before our visit was helpful, and both Tim and Greg spoke excellent English and gave us an overview of the Lake area when we arrived. We were sad we only stayed there one night. You won't regret staying here.

It was an amazing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even assisted us to arrange to see fireflies on the same night we arrived. Place is spacious and very clean. Design is modern and comfortable. Love the rain shower. There are 5 resident cats hence great for cat lovers! Breakfast is also really good.

Best stay!
Best stay for the whole trip! It was the only place that made us wanting to go back to sun moon lake in our next taiwan trip. Not only that, we regretted just staying for a night. The rooms and common area were clean and tidy. Owners were helpful and clear when checking us in. The cats were sooo adorable too! Breakfast were served in a prompt manner. They even attended to my last min request of additional bed. Basically, it's true to photos that you see! It definitely a good choice at sun moon lake!

The hotel is so cozy. Staff is kind and helpful, Greg prepare all information for his guests. he can give you suggestions to go, to eat and he had a special price ticket for almost activity. His cats are cute. You can relax at Sun moon lake over Doris home with happiness. If I go SML again I will visit there for sure
