The staff at Sutter Inn are very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, but there was smell from smokers in other rooms above or nearby. Sutter Inn is near to all amenities and downtown of Yuba City, and has easy access to main highways.

The staff was great, but some stuff were needed a bit elbow grease and attention, air conditioning bussing buttons which can be bad for kids in the room, doors needed to be pushed closed with a bit more force to ensure it is closed

The air conditioning is broken the screen, the bathroom door is stuck, the bathroom wall is half painted, the sheets burned with a good cigarette, no more than a set of a bed, if it was clean, no homeless around the property, which is an extra good location. So I give them a 2 and 3 stars.

Their 5 star review is so deceiving. Not true at all! We stayed at room 318 3rd floor non smoking and it smells cigarette and musty odor. Very uncomfortable. Towels have stains to it. Their bathroom door is hard to close. I would not recommend this hotel!

Can't expect beauty from an aging motel, but the sink was cracked and stained..looked like someone with muddy hands had washed in the sink but when I tried to wipe the sink out it was still the same, so stained. Security person was on site and friendly enough but the security door open and loud music coming from the room. But it was turned down when it was late. I can understand if they can't afford to upgrade the motel, and after all we chose the motel for the cheap price, but they can at least change out one sink that's cracked and stained.

This was by far the worst hotel we've stayed at. Probably ever. We're usually cheap people for hotels so we dont need much. This was awful. We were sent to a dirty room and then gave a "clean" new room. Stains everywhere, floors were gross, smoke smell everywhere, transient activity around, no smoke alarm hooked up, bathroom was dirty, no toilet paper holder, furniture wasnt good, bathroom faucet wasnt even bolted down, dirty shower plus a dead spider in it, beds are extremely hard, no coffee pot, A/C unit was taped into the wall and you can see outside light, and breakfast was meh. The whole place was falling apart literally. Only reason we didnt give it a one star was because the front desk lady was nice and they have a orange cat named Henry. We should have just asked for a refund. DONT STAY HERE.

There was hair in one of the beds, water stains on the ceiling, paint was bubbling near the ceiling with mold visible, and the ceiling was peeling off. The heater/air conditioner did not work, the wall around the unit was peeling paint and the patch jobs that were done were horribly done. I have pictures that I can upload as well if needed. People were running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night, so sleep was horrible. The bed was comfortable, but the hair threw us off.

This property was nothing like the pictures. Our room was not renovated at all . In the bathroom paint was bubbling on and was growing black mold. The sink drain had a cap and a razor head stuck in it. We always check the beds upon arrival the second beds sheets where stains appear to have human fluids that had crusted to the sheets. We were mortified but afraid to go down and tell the staff. The next morning I spoke with the staff and showed them pictures to prove my story. I was not offered a refund nor an apology for false advertisement of the facility. We canceled our reservation and got charged $86 for doing it. This is not right and Expedia should visit the hotel campus if they are going to promote them.
