"Although the price is $110 per night, there was a note on one elevator that it is not working and has been like that for 2 weeks already and we were surprised when the only other available elevator stopped working with someone stuck inside. Furthermore, we were notified that the wi-fi was down and not working, and to make matters even worse, the inside door handle of the washroom in our room was broken and my daughter was stuck in the bathroom. We tried overlooking all of these issues in good faith only to be shocked at checkout of a $30 extra charge for “extra guest” because our two young children were with us in the room. Ridiculous!"

"Lovely stay. Room was clean and smelled clean. Bed was comfortable water pressure in shower was strong. Any staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Would stay again!"

"I have to preempt this review by saying all the downfalls of this hotel were mitigated by the phenomal staff! This hotel is tired and worn. We had 3 rooms, each for five nights and each room came woth unique issues all related to the facility, bever the staff or cleanliness. TV remotes that are not compatible with TVs, phones that do not work, non functioning bathroom locks, buckled carpets, peeling wall paper in halls, no USB ports etc. ... lots of asthetic and technological issues. The rooms had small fridfe and microwave, which was convenient. The lobby was huge and welcoming, again dated. Front desk staffed by an fantastic group of women who worked hard to accomodate and provide support to.the visitors. Parking was fine. Breakfast was the typical buffet. Decent, not fancy, functional and filling. It was run by a single woman who did an excellent job and was literally run off her feet each day. We found the location great for our plans. Easy access to Barlow and Deerfoot, close to the airport for those flying in. Worked for our group all from BC. We dod lots in the downton and found the location fine for travel by car. Despite it's shortcomings we would stay there again and heard there are upgrading plans in the works."
