「Property was perfectly situated within Filey, 5-10 minutes walk into the centre plus a Tesco superstore a few minutes walk away. On street parking directly outside property and there was a pleasant welcome pack on arrival.」

「Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!」

The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.」

「We were looking for a convenient place to stay in Bridlington and I'm so glad we found "Salt on the Harbour". From the outside, it doesn't look like a hotel and you might have second thoughts. But inside, the rooms are very comfortable, with lovely views over the harbour. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach, town and harbour, plus free parking is a bonus. 「Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...
