「I booked a ticket to watch a live play in Stratford upon Avon on my further trip and I needed to print this ticket. The hotel staff was able to help me out with their printer. This was great. 」

「The bed is too soft which we felt backpain all day. We have tried both breakfast and dinner inside the hotel, but the taste is not good as their description. Maybe it's not suitable for us only. 」

「This hotel was vey horrible. The bed and quilt and bed are full of stain. The room, corridor and carpet are very dirty, they are full of sour smell (like vomit after drunk), the heater and exhaust fan are dusty, and a lot of louse and ants. 100% not recommend!!!!」

「Review based on cost & time of visit. Old building so room had character but small. Not sure what it would be like in hot weather. Staff very good bar & breakfast also. Surrounding area interesting some good places to go nearby & walmgate. Not very far (10 mins or so) from the Witherspoons near river. Stopped to go to York races good hour walk from there but very nice walk thru centre of York or slightly more direct way. See some interesting places & some nice bars either way」

「A lovely inn situated in a peaceful village but very handy for visiting the attractions within York and the North Yorkshire National park. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.」
