"This spot suited us perfectly. Just a little removed from the center of town, but still very close to places to dine and sites to see. The staff was very helpful and offered good suggestions. The room was quiet and comfortable."

"What a place. Great from start to finish. Check in was a breeze was bags being taken to swift check in and shown to the room. Room was lovely and was very spacious and even included a big deep bath. Drinks in the bar were great and morning breakfast was delicious and I loved the a al carte option. Spa is not to be missed, so relaxing and well worth the money"

"We picked this hotel for one night in York as it has secure parking on the premises (20$) and it is a very short walk into old town york. This was all as expected but i found that the hotel was tired looking. The mistake we made was taking the half board. There are so many nicer restaurants nearby that were enticing and the hotel's dining room lacked ambiance and the foid was very plain. Our room however was very comfortable and we were happy that we had upgraded to a river view."
